Kids were in good spirits and excited for the trip ahead. We made it to the gate in time to get seats and head off to Baltimore
We made it through the flight to Costa Rica with only a few little water spills. Collins and Fernando ended up spraying water all over the seats around them but everyone dried out in time.
We landed and the kids got to meet Mario and our new transportation
We stopped to have lunch in the cloud forest near Poas volcano on our way to Selva Verde Lodge in Sarapiqui area.
We made a quick stop after lunch to see a waterfall and the kids got a chance to walk around a little. We also made a stop thanks to our driver Ramone and his eagle eyes to see a toucan and some howler monkeys.
We are settled in for the night with full tummies and looking forward to a great day tomorrows rain forest hike and community work time. Many pictures to follow.
